Project overview

FinCraze is a four-person team hackathon project built at WittyHacks 4.0. We created a personal finance platform that brings income, expenses, debt, savings, and financial goals into one place so users can better understand and manage their money.

What we built

Our team developed a web and Android experience backed by a financial-data pipeline and a cloud-hosted API. We streamed and loaded more than 4,000 records using Kafka and MongoDB Atlas, then used that data to power financial analytics and personalized recommendations. The platform also included tools for tracking spending, setting savings goals, and understanding debt repayment options.

FinCraze won the Best Use of MongoDB Atlas prize at WittyHacks 4.0.
